Privacy Policy

  1. Introduction

This privacy statement applies to ZaveIT AS (from now on referred to as “we”). It explains why we collect information about you, how we use it, and how we take into account your privacy rights. 

 

  1. About personal information

Personal information and assessments can be linked to an identifiable individual. Personal information can be name, address, telephone number, e-mail address, IP address, and visit and behaviour history. 

 

All processing of personal data, such as collection, registration, storage, and disclosure, is subject to special rules, including in the Personal Data Act. The Norwegian Datatilsynet supervises compliance with the law. We are responsible for ensuring that the processing takes place under the rules of the law. 

 

Our basis for processing personal data will consist of your consent. You can withdraw your consent at any time.  

 

  1. What kind of information do we collect

To provide the best possible services, we depend on collecting various types of information, including personal information about you. We do not collect sensitive information. Below is an overview of how we typically collect personal information and typical. 

 

  1. a) Information you provide to us

When you register on our website or contact us through our career site, you must provide some information stored by us, such as name, e-mail address, address, and mobile number. We will also store information when you contact us later. 

 

  1. b) Information we receive through the use of our services

When you use our services, we record information about which services you use and how you use them. Among other things, we collect information about the following: 

 

  1. c) Your device and your internet connection

We can register information about the device you use, such as the manufacturer of the mobile / PC, operating system, and browser. We may also collect information about the connection to our services, such as IP addresses, network IDs, cookies, and unique identification files. 

 

  1. d)  Use of service

We register information about your use of the services, such as which pages you are on when you are on the pages and which functions you have used. 

 

  1. e) Cookies and other content stored locally

ZaveIT uses cookies to help ZaveIT identify and track visitors, their usage of ZaveIT’s website, and their website access preferences. A cookie is a string of information that a website stores on a visitor’s computer and the visitor’s browser provides to the website each time the visitor returns. ZaveIT’s visitors who do not wish to have cookies placed on their computers should set their browsers to refuse cookies before using ZaveIT’s websites, with the drawback that certain features may only function properly with the aid of cookies. 

 

  1. What is the information used for?

We use personal information for the following purposes: 

 

  1. a) To deliver and improve our services

We use personal information to provide our services to you. For example, we need personal data for you to log in to our pages. We also use personal information to ensure the best possible user experience for you, among other things, by adapting the content display to your screen/device and providing the fastest possible loading of the pages. 

If you use one of our contact forms and create an account with us, the form will be sent as an e-mail to us and stored on our E-mail server. 

 

  1. b) To improve digital communication and advertising

We use your personal information to improve our advertising. By creating a profile with us, you accept targeted advertising through programmatic purchases and targeted advertising through social media, where your data will be used to purchase such advertising. 

 

  1. c) To compile statistics and understand market trends

We gather statistics and map market trends. We do this to improve and further develop our services. We try to do this with anonymous information without knowing that the data is specifically related to you. 

 

  1. d) To prevent misuse of our services

We use personal information to avoid the misuse of our services. Abuse can include an attempt to log in to other people’s accounts, attempts at fraud, “spamming”, incitement, harassment, and other prohibited actions under Norwegian law. 

 

  1. e) Recruitment

We use personal information to contact you who have contacted us regarding work. You can find more information about how we process data in section 8. 

 

  1. Information sharing

In some cases, we share personal information with other companies that perform services on our behalf. We share your personal information primarily to give you a safer and better experience on our website, platform and services. Here is the most important example: 

 

  1. a) When others perform services on our behalf

For example, web and marketing agencies show you targeted marketing and create campaigns. They cannot use this personal information for anything other than performing services for us. If you have consented to such sharing of information, ZaveIT may share the information with the following third parties: 

 

Google Analytics and Google AdWords 

Information about usage patterns on the website (including pages visited and when) is shared with Google and linked to you as a user in a partially anonymous manner. We will not be able to connect this to you personally. Still, we may use the information to see general usage patterns on our website and to be able to send you tailored advertising in the Google network in the form of image and text ads on third-party websites. 

 

  1. b) In case of suspicion of a crime, information can be handed over to public authorities upon request. We will also be able to provide information in the event of suspected fraud or necessary information to resolve specific disputes.

 

  1. Deletion of personal information

By law, ZaveIT is obliged to hold certain personal information. Examples of this are the “Accounting act.” 

 

You are entitled to have all our information about you deleted at your request unless ZaveIT is legally obliged to store this. See section 10 for contact information. 

 

  1. Security of personal information

We have implemented organizational and technical security measures to protect the personal information under our control against unauthorized access, collection, use, dissemination, disclosure, copying, modification, or disposal. 

 

  1. Privacy information for job seekers

8.1 Introduction 

ZaveIT is responsible for the processing of the personal data that we 

registers and processes you based on your application for a position with us. 

  

Through this privacy policy, you will receive information about which personal data we collect processes, how this information is processed and what rights you have in connection with our processing of your data. 

 

8.2. Personal data we process and the purpose of this 

ZaveIT processes personal data in the recruitment process to assess your qualifications. We will emphasize education, experience and personal suitability in this assessment. 

 

In connection with your application for a job with us, we will process  

personal data about you. In our systems, name, age, gender, residential address, e‐mail address and telephone number are registered. We get the information from you. 

 

We also process information from your application, CV, diplomas and certificates. We get some of this information from you, references, and our assessments. We will also obtain statements from references and make our assessments of you. 

 

The purpose of processing personal data is to conduct a correct and good recruitment process so that the best-qualified job seeker for the position is offered the vacant position. 

 

8.3. Legal basis for processing your data 

Article 6, letter b) of the Personal Data Protection Regulation gives us a legal basis for processing personal data about you. If we treat special categories of personal information (sensitive information) in connection with the employment process, the basis for this article 9 no. 2 letter b). 

 

8.4 Where in the world do we process information about you? All storage and processing of data takes place within the EU/EEA. The information has been transferred to these countries per the EU’s requirements for such a transfer. 

 

8.6. How long do we store your data  

The personal data of those applicants who are not employed are deleted 12 months after the end of the employment process. 

 

  1. Changes to the privacy statement

We will be able to update or change the privacy statement from time to time. We will inform you of this if we have your e-mail address in the event of significant changes. 

 

  1. Right to complain

You have the right to complain to a supervisory authority, which in Norway is Datatilsynet, PO Box 458, Sentrum, 0105 Oslo.
