"The One To Watch"
The Norwegian IT company ZaveIT won gold at the Storage Awards in London on Thursday as the first Norwegian company. Now the company is gearing up its international venture.
No Norwegian company has previously been a finalist in the Storage Awards. Still, this year the start-up ZaveIT from Hadeland made it to the finals in a total of 6 categories. The Norwegian software company competed against international giants such as IBM, Microsoft Azure, Dell and Lenovo. In the category “One to watch”, ZaveIT went all the way to the top!

Being chosen as a finalist was a big feather in my cap. Winning is almost a little unreal. It is a great motivation for the team who have put their soul and heart into the work of developing our unique solution.
Ambitious growth plans
ZaveIT was founded in 2021 by the brothers Lars Olav and Fred Habberstad together with Christian A. Mathiesen. Together, they have developed a platform that will streamline operations and modernize service deliveries for MSPs and IT Resellers
The platform integrates with suppliers and various systems to build unique services and automate and optimize sales and operations across suppliers and solutions.
The IT start-up is growing rapidly, with 20 employees spread over the offices in Oslo, Lunner and Bjoneroa in Hadeland and UK.
After two years of development, the solution was recently launched in Norway, the UK and the Netherlands. Now it’s the rest of the world’s turn. The next markets will be the Nordics and Benelux, and then Germany, France, Italy and Spain. The goal is to capture the American market in 2025.
– The victory in this competition strengthens our belief that we should be able to succeed in more markets than just Norway. The influx of interested parties is rapidly increasing, and comes from large parts of the world. We are now working systematically to manage the interest. But we hurry slowly, and want to grow in a sensible way, says Habberstad, and continues
– We have our starting point in Hadeland, but the aim is to become a global company. We have a unique opportunity with the ZaveIT platform and the solution we have developed, and we feel that the market sees it the same way, concludes Habberstad.
